VFD Maintenance

4-Way Inspection Services’ VFD specialists have tested and maintained VFDs throughout facilities in the Edmonton and surrounding areas since inception. Performing these inspections is beneficial to determine the overall condition of each individual VFD.

By inspecting and maintaining VFDs on a regular basis, it has been proven to extend the lifespan and overall reliability of the equipment. At 4-Way Inspection Services, we customize VFD preventative maintenance programs to fit each individual customer's needs.

About VFD’s:

A Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) is a type of motor controller that drives an electric motor by varying the frequency and voltage supplied to the electric motor. VFD’s are used for various applications to reduce energy consumption and energy costs, increase production through tighter process control, extend equipment life and reduce maintenance costs.

Why Maintain A VFD?

The two most important factors for a VFD to reach it’s optimal lifespan is keeping it cool and keeping it clean. By inspecting, testing and maintaining a VFD on a regular basis, it has been proven to extend the lifespan and overall reliability of the equipment. At 4-Way Inspection Services, we customize VFD preventative maintenance programs to fit each individual customers needs.
